WHY SHOP TAYLOR MORGAN?

“When you support a small business, you’re supporting a dream.” For years I had a dream of starting a jewelry business. Feeling stuck in my corporate job, I decided to take a personal sabbatical and travel to Australia for several months. While there, and as cliche as this may sound, I decided to do some “soul searching.” As my trip was coming to an end, I was sitting atop a grassy knoll at the world famous Bondi Beach by myself and had a realization. I could go back to my job and feel unfulfilled every single day or I could make a change and pursue my passion. I grew up in the fashion industry, as my parents were clothing manufacturers and my aunt was an accessories rep. I knew that my footsteps would follow in the same path, but wasn’t sure exactly what that would entail. As I was sitting on that knoll, it hit me that jewelry was the avenue I needed to pursue. From my days at FIDM (a fashion school in Los Angeles) admiring ancient jewelry in my textbooks, to saving every holiday and birthday check so that I could buy something at XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, I knew it was something I had an eye for. I came back from Australia feeling reinvigorated and in 2015, Taylor Morgan was born.
